No Sound after install of Windows 7? Even Driver “looks” fine under device manager!~

From the experience I have gained from installing Windows 7 on desktops and laptops, I find that one common issue is the sound. Even the sound card driver is “Seems” to be install properly under the device manager! 😛

This problem is common with the Realtek sound chipset (For example the Asustek onboard sound) or even Creative Sound Card.

But not to worry! What you need to do is to download the Vista driver and install. The problem will be resolve! *Remember to reboot!

Want to share this with you all as I find that most of us (IT Pro) may forget to check the sound after perform migration and return the machine to end-user!

So, best to have a checklist for yourself to go through after you migrate a machine to make sure everything is done up before returning the machine back to your customer or end-user. 🙂

Hope its a good tips. I better get back to my own migration! 😀
